The exhibition entitled Modern Tradition in the Carmen Thyssen Collection. Monet, Picasso, Matisse, Miró presents a selection of the most contemporary works in the Carmen Thyssen-Bornemisza Collection. The show is structured around Spanish art produced between 1890 and 1960, although it also includes relevant works from other countries.
The objective is to strike up a dialogue between the foremost artistic proposals made by Spanish artists, and certain European and American trends that played a key role in shaping modernism in Spain, and all thanks to the treasures in the Carmen Thyssen Collection.
