One of the keys to Darío de Regoyos’s artistic development was the relationship he established with the places he visited. A tireless traveller within Spain and abroad, Regoyos observed the landscape and all its elements and translated them onto his canvases in the most unprejudiced manner, devoid of compositional tricks and not excluding anything that a more selective gaze might have eliminated from the pictorial “reality”.
