Theatre of shadows A shady tale

Fragment of shadow theater that took place in May 2014, worked on the issue of families in the program, the shadow. We offered a performance that establishes a direct connection with the workshop activities for children and their parents.

Theatre of shadows

With “A shady tale”, we take a look at the origins of stories, starting with their invention in caves following the discovery of fire and recreating what might have been the world’s first tale. The discovery of music and rhythms, the use of objects and the making of tools will provide the inspiration for new tales, from hand and body shadows to the use of objects and articulated puppets. Finally, we will look at projections and hand-made visual effects from the era just prior to the invention of cinema.
