Groups aged 5 to 8 and 9 to 12. Maximum 20 participants per group
The temporary exhibition Summer Days leads us into the holiday period, the best and most looked-forward to time for getting away from our normal routines and chores.
Leisure time encourages us to free ourselves up and focus on the things we most like doing. These are periods of fun, enjoyment and creativity in which play has a key role. What do we mean by play? What do we play at? Play is part of life, fulfilling a key function in the interpretation of reality and art. It also remains in our memory as a creation, it is shared and transmitted and thus creates culture.
This year we are offering the summer activity Ready, steady, go! in which we will be considering play and art in order to give form to play in a creative manner. We will be making our own objects for playing with and inventing new, playful ways of sharing time inspired by our own experiences, traditions and artists who have focused on this subject.
